    NTRODUCTION Description The Ovation F-55FC is a full-color RGBAL inkie Fresnel-style fixture. The Virtual Color Wheel and Color Temperature presets are shared from our other full-color Ovation fixtures. A manual zoom with a 32° to 87° field angle allows the product to have a soft field of light when needed.

    The Ovation F-55FC will work with a DMX controller using a 5-pin DMX serial connection. A DMX Primer is available from www.chauvetprofessional.com. DMX Personalities The Ovation F-55FC uses a 5-pin DMX for its DMX personalities: 1, 3, 5, 7, 10, 12, 13, 15, or HSV. Refer to Introduction chapter for a brief description of each DMX personality. •...

    The Ovation F-55FC comes with a double-bracketed yoke to which you can either attach mounting clamps for hanging. You must supply the mounting clamps. Make sure the clamps are capable of supporting the weight of this product. Use at least one mounting point per product.   • Page 12: Remote Device Management (Rdm)

    Remote Device Management, or RDM, is a standard for allowing DMX-enabled devices to communicate bi-directionally along existing DMX cabling. Check the DMX controller’s User Manual or with the manufacturer, as not all DMX controllers have this capability. The Ovation F-55FC supports RDM protocol that allows feedback to make changes to menu map options.

    <DOWN> function Control Options Set the Ovation F-55FC starting address in the 001-512 DMX range. This enables control of up to 34 products in the 15-channel personality.     PERATION Virtual Color Wheel The Ovation F-55FC includes a feature called the Virtual Color Wheel (VCW). This feature is available as a standalone control mode for manual use and also as a control channel in select DMX personalities. More than 30 pre-mixed colors, custom blended by our engineers, are available to call up for easier programming.
