1. Basic Arrangement

1.1 Exterior Covers

When cleaning, inspecting and repairing the
interiors of the mechanism, detach the cov-
ers by following these steps:

1.1.1 Removing the ADF

1) Turn off the power to the host.
2) Disconnect communication cable [1] for
this ADF from the host.
