Selecting the installation location

Outdoor unit
• W here it is not exposed to strong wind.
• W here airflow is good and dustless.
• W here it is not exposed to rain and direct sunshine.
• W here neighbours are not annoyed by operation sound or hot air.
• W here rigid wall or support is available to prevent the increase of operation sound or vibration.
• W here there is no risk of combustible gas leakage.
• W here it is at least 3m away from the antenna of TV set or radio. An amplifier may be required for
the affected device.
• I nstall the unit horizontally.
• P lease install it in an area not affected by snowfall or blowing snow. In areas with heavy snow,
please install a canopy, a pedestal and/or some baffle boards.
