6.3 Connecting junction boxes
Procedure
1. Open the cover of the junction box.
2. Install a cable gland for each load cell to be connected.

3. Mount a cable gland for the signal cable to the electronic weighing system.

4. Close any unused openings in the junction box enclosure using a cap screw.
5. In EMC cable glands, lay the cable shielding over a large area.

6. With plastic cable glands, place the corresponding wire of the SIWAREX load cell on the
shield terminal.
7. Connect the load cells and the electronic weighing system according to Wiring diagrams
(Page 25).
To learn how to connect the cable, see section Connecting the cable (Page 29).
8. Connect the equipotential-bonding conductor with crimped cable lugs.
9. Close the cover of the junction box with the specified tightening torque (Page 33).
