Insert the battery (=42).
Upon purchase, charge the battery

to start using ( = 40).
Insert the card (=42).
With the card's label facing toward

the back of the camera, insert it into
the card slot.
Attach the lens (=48).
Align the red mount index on the

lens with the red mount index on
the camera to attach the lens.
Make sure the lens's focus mode

switch is set to < 2 > ( = 48).
Set the power switch to <1>
(=46).
Flip out the screen (=45).
When the date/time/zone setting

screen is displayed, see = 374.
