    OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS Starting The Engine Fig. 1 Cold Start 1. Set the machine down on a hard, level surface. 2. Press the fuel pump primer 10 times (This is found under the air filter housing - see Fig. 1). 3. Ensure the ‘STOP SWITCH’ is set to the ‘ON’ position (slide towards the engine) as shown in Fig.

    OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS Starting The Engine The throttle lever - throttle lock holds the engine above adle to assist with starting & may drive the cutting blades then the engine is started. To release the throttle lock, simply let go of the throttle lever and the engine will return to running in idle mode.

    MAINTENANCE & CARE Maintenance - Air Filter Maintenance of the Air Filter Always switch off the machine and pull out of spark plug H.T. lead before carrying out any maintenance work. NOTE: Dirty air filters reduce the engine output by supply too little air to the carburettor. Regular checks of the air filter is essential.
