9.7 CONNECTING THE OVIEW PROGRAMMER

In the specific BusT4 connector it is possible to connect the
"OView" remote programming unit, which allows for complete
and rapid management of the installation, maintenance and di-
agnosis of any malfunctions. To access the connector, remove
the membrane as shown in "Figure 55" and connect the con-
nector to its relevant slot ("Figure 55"). The remote program-
ming unit can be placed away from the control unit, up to 100 m
of cable length; it can be simultaneously connected to multiple
control units, up to 16, and can remain connected even during
normal operation; in this case, a specific "user" menu allows
fore sending commands to the control unit.
If an OXI-type radio receiver is inserted in the control unit, the re-
mote programming unit can be used to access the parameters
of the memorised transmitters.
For these functions, a 4-wire connection cable (BusT4) is nec-
essary, with which it is possible to update the control unit's firm-
ware. Further information is provided in the instruction manual
of the "OView" programmer, or on the website www.niceforyou.
