    UPS Setup The Powerware 9125 UPS is designed for flexible configurations and can be installed in a rack or as a standalone cabinet. If the UPS is already installed and operating, shut down the UPS before installing the PDM.

    Verify that the battery circuit breaker on the UPS rear panel is in the OFF position (see Figure 6 on page 18). Slide the battery trays into the chassis (see Figure 1). Figure 1.     INSTALLATION Remote Emergency Power-off Installation The Powerware 9125 includes a REPO connector that allows power to be switched off at the UPS output from a customer-supplied switch in a remote location. The REPO feature shuts down the protected equipment immediately and does not follow the orderly shutdown procedure initiated by any power management software.

The PowerPass Distribution Module allows for the removal of the UPS while providing power to your protected equipment. This Maintenance Bypass feature is useful when replacing the UPS for maintenance or upgrades.
