Answering a call

Your telephone rings (ringer) and the status LED flash-
es.
Press the talk key
Simply remove the handset from the base station
(factory setting: Auto talk, see page 52).

If the ringer is disturbing you: Open the
menu via
G As long as the call is displayed, you can
accept it by pressing the talk key

Displaying telephone numbers (CLIP)

The network provider must support the calling line
identification (CLIP) and the telephone number must
have been transmitted. Contact your network provider.
An incoming call is displayed as follows (example):

ry, the stored name is displayed (example:
If the telephone number or the name is not displayed,
you see:
If you have not requested CLIP .
UNAVAILABLE
If the caller has not requested the tel-
ephone number transmission or if
display of the number was deliber-
ately suppressed by the caller (CLIR)
CLIP Calling Line Identification Presentation =
Displaying the caller's telephone number
CLIR Calling Line Identification Restriction = display
