Listening in at the base station

("Speaker On/Off")

You can switch on the base station loudspeaker, so that
other people in the room can hear what your external
caller on the telephone is saying.
Open the menu.
MENU
Select the menu item and confirm.
To deactivate, repeat this procedure

Before you activate this function, you should
inform your caller about your intention.

Muting the microphone

You can deactivate your microphone during external
calls in order to talk confidentially to another person in
the room, for example. The external caller cannot hear
your conversation during this time. You do not hear
your caller either.
Mute the microphone – the call is placed on hold and
the external caller will hear music.
Re-activating the microphone:
Open the menu.
MENU
Confirm.
You return to the external caller.
Picking up a call from the answering
machine
While the answering machine is recording a message
(
symbol is flashing), you can still answer the call if
you want to talk to the caller.
Press the talk key.
The recording stops and you can talk to the caller.
