Ammeter

The ammeter gauge shows the electric current
from the alternator to the battery. When the
engine is running, the needle in the ammeter
gauge should not be to the left of "0." Under
normal operating conditions, after the engine has
been running for a few minutes, this gauge
should read "0."

Engine Coolant

The engine coolant reservoir is in front of the
radiator. When the engine is at operating
temperature the coolant level should be at the
HOT line. When the engine is cold there should
be about one inch (2.5 cm) of coolant in the
bottom of the reservoir.
