Touch the [Enter] button.
The CD-R drive tray opens and a message prompts
you to load a CD-R in the drive.

Set the CD-R in the drive.
For details about how to insert a CD-R into the
drive, refer to the Operating Instructions.
The pictures are written to the CD-R. When the
operation is complete, the CD-R drive tray opens
and the display returns to the screen in step 1 of
"Selecting the Media Containing Pictures and
Inserting It into the Unit" (page 5).
Notes
• If you use the Administration screen to set the
unit to inhibit all other operations during printing
([Background Printing] off), the "Thank you"
screen does not appear until all the pictures are
written to the CD-R, and then returns to the
screen in step 1 of "Selecting the Media
Containing Pictures and Inserting It into the
Unit" (page 5), effectively preventing the user
from performing other operations during the
writing operation.
• A receipt is printed if a receipt printer is
connected to the unit and settings necessary for
printing receipts have been made within the
Administration screen. When output finishes, the
receipt is automatically printed.
Viewing Pictures Written to CD-R
When you write pictures to a CD-R, viewing software
(for Windows) and HTML files are also written to the
CD-R so that the pictures can be viewed easily on other
computers.
Viewing Pictures with a Windows
Computer
Pictures can be viewed on a Windows computer with
CD Viewer (software written to the CD-R). When the
CD-R containing the pictures is inserted into the CD-
ROM drive of your computer, CD Viewer starts
automatically and thumbnails of the images on the CD-
R appears.
Notes
• If CD Viewer does not start automatically, access the
CD-R with Windows Explorer, and then double-click
"Viewer.exe" in the root folder.
• Do not remove the CD-R from the CD-ROM drive of
your computer when CD Viewer is starting.
CD Viewer is operated through the thumbnail screen and
the preview screen.
Using the Thumbnail Screen
[To Preview Screen]
• Double-click a picture to preview it.
• Click a picture to select it. After selecting the desired
picture, click [To Preview Screen] to preview the
picture.You can also select several pictures as follows.
– To select all the pictures at once, press CTRL+A.
– To select several consecutive pictures, pressing the
SHIFT key, click the first picture that you want to
select and then the last.
– To select several inconsecutive pictures, pressing
the CTRL key, click the pictures that you want to
select.
• When you select several pictures, click [Slide Show]
to display all the enlarged pictures one by one.
• If the thumbnails do not fit onto one page, touch [v]
or [V] to scroll through the pages.
• Click [Save] to give the picture a name and save it.
• Click [Open], select a folder, and then select the
pictures that you want to open.
