4. ASSEMBLY

WARNING
To prevent an accidental start that could cause serious personal injury, always
disconnect the engine spark plug HT lead from the spark plug when assembling
parts.
WARNING
Never install, remove or adjust any attachments while power head is running.
Failure to stop the engine can cause serious personal injury.
WARNING
ALWAYS wear thick gloves when changing the blades on this machine.

HANDLE ASSEMBLY
2.0 Unscrew the 2 screws from the back of the handle mounting bracket using the
torx wrench provided.
2.1 Place it on the upper shaft in between the harness clip and locking hand wheel.
Ensure the bracket is the correct way up with the 2 screws facing towards the
ground.
2.2 Reinsert the 2 screws removed and tighten hand tight as once fully assembled the
mount can be slid up and down the shaft to find a comfortable working position and
then tightened fully.
