2.16 Leave 10cm of trimmer line loose.
2.17 Move the spool back to the main trimmer head and insert one end of the trimmer line
through one of the eyelets on the trimmer head.
2.18 Insert the other end of the trimmer line through the other eyelet on the trimmer head.
2.19 Ensure the inner spool sits flush in the main trimmer body and reattach the outer
ring.
2.20 If you have too much trimmer line showing, push down on the bump feed and wind it
in the direction of the arrow to return some line back onto the spool.
ATTACHING TRIMMER HEAD
2.21 Rotate the trimmer head until the hole in the splined drive flange lines up with the
hole in the shaft head.
2.22 Insert the end of the torx wrench through the hole to lock the shaft in place and stop
it rotating.
2.23 Using the box spanner provided, undo the main shaft nut remembering the left hand
thread.
