CONNECTING UPPER & LOWER SHAFTS
2.44 Remove the protective cover from the end of the lower shaft and align the upper and
lower shaft.
2.45 Loosen the blue hand wheel and push in the silver ball locking mechanism on the
lower shaft.
2.46 Insert the lower shaft into the upper shaft, keeping hold of the ball locking
mechanism, until both shafts are connected.
NOTE you may need to rotate the lower shaft from side to side to ensure it locks into
the internal drive shaft.
2.47 Once connected, turn the lower shaft until the ball locking mechanism locates to the
corresponding hold in the upper shaft and then tighten the blue hand wheel.
