Rotate the trimmer head until the hole in the splined drive flange lines up with the
hole in the shaft head.

Insert the end of the torx wrench through the hole to lock the shaft in place and stop
it rotating.

Using the box spanner provided, undo the main shaft nut remembering the left hand
thread.

Remove the main shaft nut, bump washer and the domed washer.

Leave the splined drive flange in place.
The grass trimmer/brush cutter uses a LEFT HANDED THREAD.
To tighten turn anti-clockwise, to loosen turn clockwise.
