Care tips for stainless steel surfaces

To look after the stainless steel surfaces, use Chromol"
cleaner.
It is available from the trade or After sales Service quoting
H
Article no. 00310359 for the 500 ml spray can or
H
Article no. 00166787 for a 50 ml sample bottle.
To prevent damage to the surfaces, under no circum
stances use abrasive sponges, metal brushes, sharp
edged implements or scouring agents.
Chemically corrosive cleaning agents such as defrosting
spray, oven spray, solvents or stain removers must not
be used either.

Noises

Normal noises

Humming: there is a motor running, e.g. the cooler unit
or fan motor
Bubbling, whishing or gurgling: refrigerant is flowing
through the pipes.
Clicking: a motor, switch or solenoid valve is switching
on or off.

Avoiding noises

Appliance is not level: level the appliance with the aid
of a spirit level. If necessary put something underneath it.
Containers, shelves or trays loose or sticking: check
removable parts and re insert them correctly as required.
Bottles or containers touching one another: move
bottles or containers slightly apart from one another.

What to do if there is a fault

Before you call After sales Service:
Check whether you can rectify the fault yourself by using
the notes below.
You must bear the costs for consultations with the After
sales Service yourself - even during the warranty period.

Rectifying faults yourself

You can rectify the following faults yourself by investiga
ting the possible causes:
Appliance is not working
Please check
H
whether the mains plug is properly plugged into the
power socket and/or
H
whether the socket fuse has blown.
The appliance does not start up when the mains plug
is plugged in but the display shows a temperature
If the display is showing DEMO", it means that
Demonstration mode has been inadvertently activated.
To deactivate Demonstration mode, proceed as follows:
1. Simultaneously press and hold the right hand Plus
button and the On/Off button for approx. 5 seconds
until the display shows MENU" and d".
2. Press the Fan button.
The display then shows d0".
3. Press the Fan button again.
The cooler unit then starts up and the display shows
the current interior temperatures again.
The appliance is back in normal operating mode.
Appliance makes too much noise
Please check that the appliance is standing firmly on the
floor. Please note also that circulation noises from the
refrigerant circuit are unavoidable.
