1. From the menu on the left: click on Save, then click the blue button Save
Settings to Flash.
2. Click Continue to return to the Web Configuration of your switch.

Community Table Settings

System > SNMP > Community Table Settings
A community string has attributes for controlling who can use the string and what the
string will allow a network management station to do on the switch. The Web
Management Utility does not provide any default community strings. You must first
define an SNMP User and Group Name on the SNMP User/Group page and then define a
Community Name on the SNMP Community Table page.

2. Click on System, click on SNMP, and click on Community Table Settings.
3. Review the settings.
Editing SNMP Community Settings
Select an Access Right – either Read Write or Read Only.
Enter a Community Name (View Policy), if you change the default name on this
page, you must also update the Host Settings to match the community name.
Note: Host Settings page. If you change a name on the Community Table
Settings page, you must also change the name on the Host Settings page or
else the Community entry is displayed, but the agent/manager communication
fails.
Click Apply. The values of the new Community Name and its respective access
rights are displayed.
NOTE: The configured settings are only applied to the switch's temporary memory and
will be lost upon the next power-cycle. Please follow these next steps to save the
configurations to the switch's NV-RAM to ensure the settings will remain throughout
power-cycles and reboots:
1. From the menu on the left: click on Save, then click the blue button Save
Settings to Flash.
