The newly designed 5-port cylinder has greatly improved scavenging efficiency at all speeds. In addition, the
adoption of an improved reed valve for intake ensures steady and smooth engine performance throughout the
entire range of speed from low to high.

Highly-dependable Yamaha Autolube
Yamaha Auto lube provides superior engine lubrication that extends the life of the engine.

Easy Starting
The engine can be started by simply disengaging the clutch and kicking the kick pedal without shifting gears
back to neutral.
This is a valuable convenience to the rider.
The GT1-GTMX is equipped with a magneto.
To start the engine, kick the kick pedal.
