Replacing Rear Swing Arm Bushings
On motorcycles being used only for on-the-street
riding, rear swing arm bushings should be replaced
every 10,000 km {6,000 miles). The same may not
apply to those used for racing or rough riding.
Replacement should be made according to machine
condition such as excessive play of the rear swing
arm, or hard steering (wander, shimmy or rear wheel
hop), or upon request of the customer.
