A. Removal

Pull out the two shift fork guide bars.

Remove both the transmission assembly and
the shift forks from the crankcase, while
tapping the drive shaft end with a plastic-tip
hammer.

3) Pull out the shift drum assembly.

B. Reinstallation
Reinstall the transmission and shifter as a unit in the
left crankcase half after they are sub~assembled.
They cannot be installed separately. The trans•
mission unit must be in neutral during installation.
