6. AUTOMATIC OPERATION

6.1
AUTOMATIC OPERATION CONDITION
When starting the IPR-D or after 5 minutes from the last operation carried out on the front keyboard, the relay
cyclically displays the following information:
-
ground current
-
cause of the latest intervention.
When supplying the power to the IPR-D, the following message is displayed:
ORION ITALIA
IPR-D RELAY
and then these messages will be displayed:
GROUND CURRENT
XXXX A
LAST TRIP CAUSE
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
If any fault has caused the protection relay intervention and consequently the device turning off due to
voltage loss, when the power supply is restored the relay will activate and make the following leds
blink: TRIP led and the led related to the cause of the trip (50N or 51N).
This indication does not signal that TRIP contact is active but signals that the device has switched off
due to a trip caused by a fault.
Press RESET to stop the signalling.
CURRENT PROTECTION RELAY - IPR-D
It indicates the actual ground current true RMS.
It indicates the cause of the latest trip by IPR-D.
