INSTALLATION THE BATTERY PACK
Your IBM-3345 telephone comes with a rechargeable Metal Hydrogen 3.6V @600m Battery Pack in
the remote keypad unit. You must install and charge the battery pack for at least 15 hours before you use it.
Follow these steps to install the battery pack.

1. Remove the battery compartment cover on the remote keypad. Push the top of the battery cover in the
direction of the arrow. (See Figure 7)
2. Gently push the battery pack connector into the connector pins inside the battery compartment.
(See Figure 8)
3. Place the battery pack into the battery compartment, and replace the battery cover.
