OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

Routine maintenance
The only components requiring routine maintenance are the taps that dispense
the water and the filters which are easily changed, ideally by trained engineers.
From time to time the CO2 cylinder will also need to be replaced, this must be
organised by the customer directly with the supplier BOC.
Taps
A tap (dispensing either carbonated or still water) must be sanitised before and
after each bottle-filling session using C5 Sanitiser Spray. Sanitisation involves
spraying both the exterior body of the taps and inside the nozzles. The operator
should wash his/her hands before starting the sanitisation procedure (the C5
Sanitiser Spray may be used for this purpose). To avoid build up of limescale,
we recommend wiping the taps with a small amount of Limelite. Then wash
thoroughly with fresh water. Only C5 Sanitiser Spray or other approved water
sanitising solutions designed specifically to be used with water, may be used
with the Eau de Vie filtered water system.
Filters
A replaceable filter is used which removes sediment; sub micron particles and
pathogenic bacteria and chlorine and other contaminants causing bad flavour or
odour.
