Additional requirements placed on the protective conductor of the line feeder cable:
● For permanent connections, the protective conductor must fulfill at least one of the
following conditions:
– The protective conductor is routed so that it is protected against damage along its
– As a conductor of a multi-conductor cable, the protective conductor has a cross-
– For an individual conductor, the protective conductor has a cross-section ≥ 10 mm² Cu.
– The protective conductor consists of two conductors with the same cross-section.
● When connecting a multi-conductor cable using an industrial plug connector according to
EN 60309, the protective conductor must have a cross-section of ≥ 2.5 mm² Cu.

Line connection

Open the terminal covers of the converter.
Connect the protective conductor of the power supply cable to terminal PE of the inverter.
Connect the power supply cable to terminals U1, V1 and W1.
When using copper busbars, the same cross-sections should be used as the connecting
busbars of the device itself:
● Frame size GX: 52 mm x 4 mm
● Frame size HX: 64 mm x 8 mm
● Frame size JX: 80 mm x 8 mm
