5. Continue warming up the engine until it
idles smoothly before riding.
WARNING
POTENTIAL HAZARD
Engine idle speed exceeds the regulated
speed.
WHAT CAN HAPPEN
Will make it difficult to select the proper
gear, which could lead to loss of control,
causing serious injury or even death.
HOW TO AVOID THE HAZARD
Because of electronic injection system, the
idle speed will speed up when the voltage
of battery is low.
Place the gear on position 'N', and press
the throttle pedal to make the engine run at
2500RPM to charge the battery for 5-10
minutes; when the voltage of battery is over
12V, the idle speed will be normal. If the
idle speed is still high, please contact your
service center.

Warming Up

To get maximum engine life, always warm up
the engine before driving. Never accelerate
hard with a cold engine! To see whether or
not the engine is warm, check if it responds
to the throttle normally.
1. Release the brakes and press the
accelerator pedal gradually.
2. If the speed of the engine accelerates with
pedal steadily, the engine is warm and
the vehicle can been ridden. Otherwise,
