You can route a pushbutton input to a Btn pin on the function block through:

A DigIn on your controller.
•
An MFIn on your controller.
•
A DigAn on your controller.
You must configure the input that you use to accept a pushbutton input.

By default, a DigIn on a typical PLUS+1 GUIDE template requires no configuration
changes to accept an input from a pushbutton wired to +5 VDC common sensor power.
However, it is a good idea to verify the configuration of a DigIn.
1. In the GUIDE template, enter the Inputs page.
2. Enter the DigIn page that configures the pushbutton input.
3. Make sure that the PinConfig value is 2.
