CONNECT GAS SUPPLY
Important:
Before installation, be sure the gas supply is
turned off at its source.
To access the interior of the urn, remove the storage door.
Remove by first turning the door handle counter-clockwise, then
carefully pulling the door upward and outward. The bottom of
the door has metal tabs that must clear the base. Store in a safe
location.
To Connect To a Propane Cylinder:
1. Locate the regulator hose assembly that is already installed
on the rear of the valve assembly.
2. Attach the regulator end of the hose assembly to a propane
cylinder (not included) and tighten.
3. The propane cylinder (not included) is to be located inside
the base of the unit, via the storage door opening.
To Connect To Household Propane Gas Supply:
1.
Locate the flex connector that is already installed on the rear
of the valve assembly.
2.
Bring the gas supply pipe up from beneath the unit near its
center. Observe all codes.
Important:
Locate the gas supply line out of pathways
where people may trip over it or in areas where
the line may way be subject to accidental
damage (if applicable).
3. Install the supplied flare adapter to the gas supply (NPT) using
a gas pipe sealing compound or Teflon tape.
4. Connect the flex connector to the flare adapter.
LEAK TEST
Turn on the gas supply, ignite the burner, and test at all
connections for leaks using a soapy water solution. lf bubbles
appear, a leak is present. Turn off the gas and tighten at all
connections. Repeat until no leaks are present. If a leak persists,
turn off the gas supply and contact the local gas company or
dealer. NEVER USE A FLAME TO CHECK FOR LEAKS.
REPLACE STORAGE DOOR
Replace the storage door (that was previously removed during
the assembly section). Ensure the door is secure in place. Door
design may vary.
