These parameters equate to the following settings for the XBee-PRO RF module (boost mode
enabled):

PM (Power Mode)

Set or read the power mode of the device. Enabling boost mode improves the receive sensitivity by
2dB and increase the transmit power by 3dB.
This command is disabled on the XBee-PRO and is forced on by the software to provide extra
sensitivity. Boost mode imposes a slight increase in current draw.

DB (Received Signal Strength)

This command reports the received signal strength of the last received RF data packet or APS
acknowledgment. The DB command only indicates the signal strength of the last hop. It does not
provide an accurate quality measurement for a multihop link. Set DB to 0 to clear it. The DB command
