    Introduction BYK-Gardner GmbH Intended Use The instrument is designed to measure color on differ- ent surfaces. By placing the base plate of the unit onto a surface and pressing either the operate button on the side of the instrument or triggering the measurement on the display, the instrument measures the color and processes, displays and stores these values.

Functions The docking station charges the instrument and auto- matically performs auto diagnosis and calibration after positioning. This ensures that the instrument is always ready for operation.
