CPLD

Status, control and interrupt signals are made accessible on the CPLD. The on-board (XC2C256-
7CPG132I) is also used to do the tasks below.
-
Translating I2C access to PHY MDIO access.
-
Level translating some DisplayPort signals.

Setting discrete control pins of several on-board devices.

Driving status LEDs.

De-bouncing the reset signal from the front panel switch and drive the VPX sys
reset when it's in the backplane system slot (VPX_SYS_CON_N = low).

Controlling the multiplexer to switch between DisplayPort and USB3.0 interfaces.
-
Controlling the multiplexer to switch between M.2 and standard SATA interfaces.
-
Buffer inputs from switches and output to appropriate components.

Battery

ML-2020 3V 45mAh rechargeable battery can be fitted on-board to provide a supply voltage to
"P1-VBAT" see Table 2 in section 7.5.1.

host system.
