7.5.3.4 Standard SATA connector (Molex, 067800-5005)
On-board SATA interface can be accessed by setting SW3 = "OFF".
Note that: there is no mounting hardware and SATA's power connector provided on the RTM311
for SATA connection.
The signals assignment on the SATA connector is as per table below.

Description
Control: Use to configure the communication protocol of
M.2 device.
Control: Use to put M.2 device to sleep mode.
Status: M.2's Drive activity status
Data+/- from VPX backplane when SW3 = "ON"
Data+/- to VPX backplane when SW3 = "ON"
LOCAL-I2C_SCL and LOCAL-I2C_SDA
Connect to
when the I2C switch Port 3 is connected.
Status: Alert signal from M.2 device when I2C interface
needs attention.
