Direction Finding Modes
This mode of measurement allows the user to determine the Line of Position of a radiating cell phone
(or, the direction from which the cell phone is radiating), as well as detecting the cell phone signal (see
Figure 9). The frequency band needs to be selected (US, EU, AU,....) via the BAND SELECTION screen.

Within the Direction Finding mode there are two different features that allow the user to detect cell
phones with greater accuracy. These features can be found by highlighting the spinning wheel icon and
selecting it.
Here are the two different features in the Direction Finding mode followed by a brief description for
each one:
