2.1 Enabling the Advanced Security Function

You can enable and disable the advanced security function as you like. If you disable the
advanced security function, the functions that you can use on the GX/GP are the same as
those of the standard product.
If you change the advanced security settings, all data including recorded data will be
initialized, and the GX/GP will restart.
You can set a password on the advanced security settings so that they cannot be changed
without permission (only for operations performed from the GX/GP).
If the measurement mode is set to High speed or Dual interval, the advanced security
function is disabled (fixed to Off) and cannot be changed. To enable the advanced security
function, set the measurement mode to Normal.

If you set the password setting to On, the next time you want to change the advanced
security settings, you will be prompted to enter the password.
