With the other end of the rope, repeat the
previous steps, without the boat hook, to
permanently attach the rope to the dock rails.
Insert the rope through the eye of the dock rail.
Insert the fi d through the rope about 10 inches down.
Insert the rope through the end of the fi d
and thread the fi d through the rope.
Pull the rope, making a small loop at the dock rail.
