This   f ilter   i s   v ery   u seful   f or   c utting   o ut   l ow   f requencies   t hat   d o   n ot   c ontribute   t o   t he   s ound   o f   t he  
instrument,   a s   w ell   a s   s ubsonic   f requencies   w hich   c annot   b e   h eard   a t   a ll.   B ass   p layers   o ften   u se   l ow  
cut   f ilters   s et   v ery   l ow   ( around   1 0   H z   t o   3 0   H z)   t o   r educe   s peaker   e xcursion   a nd   i mprove   t he   c larity   o f
