SLEEP MODE (RAC-H**CR series only):

reduce the noise and create a comfortable sleeping
environment.
Note: This feature is not available under DRY and
FAN ONLY operation.
SWING keypad:
(oscillation) feature. The green indicator light
selected mode is operating. The vertical louvers will
move from (side to side) automatically, sweeping air
alternately for comfortable cooling. To stop the air
indicator light adjacent to the keypad will go off.

AUTO operation(if available):
Auto mode.
The unit will select the appropriate operating mode
from Fan or Cool based upon the temperature
difference between the actual and desired room
temperature. If the actual room temperature is 2
above the set point, the unit operates in cooling
mode. When the actual room temperature is 1
higher above the set point but 2

C lower below the
set point, the unit will select the Fan mode.

DRY operation (RAC-H**CR series only):
In the Dry mode, the air conditioner will generally

Cooling begins

Failure Indicator Display:
Indicates a malfunction of the indoor room
temperature sensor.
Indicates a malfunction of the evaporator
temperature sensor.
Indicates a malfunction of the outdoor condenser
temperature sensor.
Note:
When one of the above malfunctions occurs,
turn off the unit, and check for any obstructions.
Restart the unit, if the malfunction is still present,
turn off the unit and unplug the power cord.
Contact the manufacturer or its service agents
or a similar qualified person for service.
Indicates frosting protection (Turn off the unit and
restart it to return to normal operation).

CONTROL PANEL COVER
1. Grasp the top of the control panel cover and pull it
downwards to open it.
2. Close the control panel cover and press the top of
the operation cover again until it snaps into the
locked position.

ADJUST AIR FLOW DIRECTION

To adjust vertical air flow direction, adjust any one of
the horizontal louver blades. When turning up or down
the horizontal louver blades, always keep the blades
horizontality. This can effectively prevent water drops
condensed on the front panel of the unit.

VENT CONTROL

To open the vent, set the lever

CAUTION
Clean your air conditioner occasionally to keep the
appearance in good condifion. Be sure to unplug the
unit before cleaning to prevent chock or fire hazards.
