Section 1: Assembly & Set-Up
3-Point Hitch Assembly
Refer to Figure 1-3:
1.
Bushings (#2) are zip tied to top hitch (#13).
2. Remove hex flange lock nuts (#9A), flat
washers (#10) and bolts (#6A).
3. Reattach A-frame brace bars (#1) with
5/8"-11 x 1 3/4" hex head bolts (#6A), bushings (#2),
flat washers (#10), and hex flange lock nuts (#9A).
Tighten lock nuts (#9A) to the correct torque.
4. Attach smaller hole of rear braces (#3) inside of deck
lugs (#4) with 5/8"-11 x 1 3/4" GR5 bolts (#6B) and
secure with hex flange lock nuts (#9B). Draw lock
nuts (#9B) up snug and then back off 1/4 turn.
IMPORTANT: See Detail A in Figure 1-3 on page 10.
Floating top hitch (#13) must be installed with
ears (#5) above rear brace bars (#3).

5. Rotate A-frame/floating top hitch (#1 & #13) up and
rotate left rear brace (#3) up until holes in rear
braces (#3) align with hole in floating top hitch (#13).
6. Insert 3/4"-10 x 4 1/2" GR5 bolt (#7) into the left rear
brace (#3), floating top hitch (#13), and right rear
brace (#3).

Secure bolt with hex flange locknut (#8). Draw
locknut (#8) up snug and then tighten to the correct
torque.
8. Attach driveline hook (#14) to A-frame (#1) using
5/16"-18 x 1 1/4" bolt (#15) and locknut (#16).
NOTE: After assembly of hitch and tailwheel, push
on top of A-frame assembly (#1). It should rotate
backward and floating top link (#13) should rotate
upward. If they are too stiff to rotate, loosen nut (#8)
until it rotates freely.
