  • Page 5 3) Connect the cable from the indicator into the load cell cable in the base. 4) Fix the column onto the scale base using the 3 x M5 bolts, making sure not to trap any wires. 5) Push the height rod through the hole at the base of the indicator and then connect to the black stopper on the base of the scale.

    Operating Instructions 1) Turning the scale on and off To turn the scale on press the ON button firmly. The model number and software version will briefly show on the display. Then the scale will display 0.0 and it is ready to use.

    2) BMI Operation Turn the scale on and then allow the individual to stand on the scale. When a stable weight is showing, firmly press the BMI button. The display will show H 1.75. This is the height in metres and centimetres. The last digit should be flashing.

    3) Zero/Tare/Hold/Units To make the scale show 0.00, press the ZERO button once. If you want to remove unwanted weight, such as a coat for example, put the coat on the scale and press the TARE button. When the coat is removed from the scale a minus weight will be displayed.
