Basic operation

Making calls

Before a call is made, make sure you are within a network coverage. Check the
signal icon
status icons section on page 6 for details. If there is no network coverage,
Low signal range will be displayed on the screen. Move to somewhere until
the signal shows you are under a strong network coverage.
To make a call, press
to exit.
FLASH, or
time to make correction as you entering numbers. Press OFF or the Back
softkey to exit.
When the call is connected, the screen displays the elapsed time as you talk
(in hours, minutes and seconds) and the telephone number you dial.
If the telephone number you are calling is busy, Line Busy will be displayed.
To make a peer-to-peer call, refer to P2P calling section on page XX for
details.
Receiving calls
When there is an incoming call, the screen of handset will display Incoming call.
To answer the call, press
When the call is received, the date and the elapsed time as you talk will be
displayed on the screen. If you subscribe to caller ID service (refer to Caller
ID
the caller such as name and telephone number will also be displayed on the
screen.
