How do I turn the temperature down so it works in more of a range of 2 to 6?
To adjust the temperature range on a Thermo Scientific TSG Series refrigerator to 2°C to 6°C:
1. Note the Preset Range: The default set point is 5°C. The adjustable set point range is from 4°C to 7°C, as stated in the context. However, the low and high set point limits (LSE and HSE) can be configured to 2°C and 6°C respectively.
2. Enter Programming Mode:
- Press and hold the Program button for 3 seconds until three dashes appear.
- Press the Program button again to enter programming mode.
3. Adjust Set Point Limits:
- Scroll to the LSE (Low Set Point) parameter and set it to 2°C.
- Scroll to the HSE (High Set Point) parameter and set it to 6°C.
4. Set Desired Temperature:
- Press the Set Point button to view the current set point.
- Use the Up/Down buttons to set the temperature within the new 2°C to 6°C range.
5. Save Settings:
- Press the SC button to confirm changes.
- The display will revert to showing the current temperature after 30 seconds.
