TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE
Service and Repair should only be performed by Lincoln Electric Factory Trained Personnel. Unauthorized repairs performed on
this equipment may result in danger to the technician and machine operator and will invalidate your factory warranty. For your
safety and to avoid ELECTRICAL SHOCK, please observe all safety notes and precautions detailed throughout this manual.
PROBLEMS / SYMPTOM(S)
POOR SUCTION.
MOTOR PROTECTION CUTTING
OUT.
FILTER IS NOT CLEANED.
UNIT DOES NOT START.
NO OFF-LINE CLEANING.
If for any reason you do not understand the test procedures or are unable to perform the tests/repairs safely, contact your
Lincoln Authorized Service Facility for technical troubleshooting assistance before you proceed.

POSSIBLE CAUSE(S)
Filter clogged.
Hoses are too long.
Damaged hoses.
Too many nozzles connected
simultaneously.
Motor running in wrong
direction.
Leakage in the system.
Motor running on two phases.
Low voltage on one or several
phases.
Extracting too much air.
Switch in OFF-mode.
Cleaning intervals improperly
set.
Solenoid valve defect or without
electrical supply.
Rotating cleaning device
broken.
Automatic filter cleaning shut
off.
No electrical supply.
Auto start switch in AUTO-
mode.
No connection with external
start switches.
Internal timer is incorrectly set. Pre-set the timer.
No electrical supply to the timer. Check electrical supply.
RECOMMENDED COURSE(S) OF ACTION
Clean the filter. Replace if necessary.
Shorten hoses.
Replace hoses.
Use fewer nozzles.
Change position of any 2 input phases at connection to machine.
Find the leakage and repair.
Call for an electrician.
Check voltage during operation.
Close Outlets.
Turn to ON-mode.
Adjust intervals. (Shorter)
Contact your local Lincoln Authorized Field Service Facility.
