Filtration: Clearances between the gears and internal wall are typically 0.001” to 0.002”. Any dirt present in the system can jam or damage the unit. A 10 micron filter (such as a Max 381 Series stainless steel unit) is generally recommended, although materials with very high viscosities may require a coarser filter.
The G-Series is not designed for user repair and all such work should be done at the factory or under the direct supervision of the Max Technical Service Department. Unauthorized repair work may damage the meter and will void the product warranty.
