4. Before using the cradle
p011s,
remove the caps from the ports.
When using a LAN,
connect one end
of the
LAN
cable to the LAN port
and
the other
end to
the
PC or
hub.
When
using

USB connection, connect one end of the USJ3 cub ic
(DT-380USB-A)
to the
USB
pott and the
other end
to the PC.
The USB host p011 is used
for connecting
the cradle with other
USB
peripheral
device.

5. Turn on the power switch
on
I he right side of the Ethemet
Crndlc.
The power
LED
on
tlte front of the
Etl1ernel
Cradle
lights red.
6. Align the contacts on the
bollom of
the
lT-0
500 with the power
contacts of
the
Ethernet
Cradle when inserting the unit.
The power LED on the fl·ont
of the Ethernet
Cradle
will
light
green if
the Handheld
Terminal
has been properly mounted.
