Probable cause
The maximum number of index marks has been
reached.
The file is locked.
The memory card is locked.
The maximum number of verbal comments has
been reached.
Wrong recording media or folder.
Sometimes a connection cannot be made with
some PCs running Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8 or 8.1.
The Wi-Fi function is set to [Off].
The connection settings of the W-Fi network
are incorrect.
The voice recorder is in a location that radio
signals cannot reach.
Action
Erase unnecessary index marks (☞ P.35).
Unlock the file from the file menu (☞ P.38).
Unlock the memory card.
Erase unnecessary verbal comments (☞ P.31).
Switch to the correct recording media or folder
(☞ P.16, P.18, P.40).
You need to change the PC's USB settings.
See ODMS software online help for details
(☞ P.50).
Change the [Wi-Fi] setting to [On] (☞ P.33).
Check the settings of the Wi-Fi function.
Check for obstacles between the voice recorder
and access point.
