Cross detection focus points achieve high capturing performance by arranging horizontal detection points and
vertical detection points in a cross shape in the same focusing area. The focus point at the center is also
equipped with a F2.8-sensitive sensor that supports lenses with a minimum F-value of 2.8 or lower.
Auto focus area of the dedicated phase detection AF sensor
The dedicated phase detection AF sensor with 79 focus points is used for auto focusing when a
lens that does not support the Hybrid Phase Detection AF system is attached, or [AF System] is
set to [Ddc Phase AF Only].
The number of focus points is limited to 61 in the movie shooting mode.
