Notes:
• To exit sleep mode, hold in the power button on the TeraStation for about 3 seconds. The unit will power on.
• The TeraStation will not go into sleep mode while performing Check Disk, Disk Format, or Backup, or if a backup is
scheduled within 5 minutes of the current time.
• If multiple sleep timers conflict, the longest interval time is used. Here are some examples of multiple timers:
A timer is set to turn the unit on for Wednesday at 10:00:
Timer 1 Everyday 12:00:00 - 24:00
Timer 2 Disabled
Timer 3 Disabled
-> Nothing happens at 12:00 and the unit enters sleep mode at 24:00
A timer is set to turn the unit on for Wednesday at 10:00:
Timer 1 Everyday 9:00 - 18:00
Timer 2 Select Day Wednesday 10:00:00 - 20:00:00
Timer 3 Disabled
-> Except on Wednesdays, the unit powers on at 9:00 and moves to sleep mode at 18:00.
-> On Wednesday, it enters sleep mode at 20:00.
A timer is set to turn the unit on for Wednesday at 10:00:
Timer 1 Everyday 9:00 - 18:00
Timer 2 Select Day Wednesday 10:00 - 25:00
Timer 3 Disabled
-> Except on Wednesdays, the unit powers on at 9:00 and moves to sleep mode at 18:00.
-> Except on Wednesdays, it enters sleep mode at 1:00 of the next day.
A timer is set to turn the unit on for Wednesday at 10:00:
Timer 1 Everyday 9:00 - 18:00
Timer 2 Select Day Wednesday 07:30:00 - 22:00:00
Timer 3 Disabled
->Except on Wednesdays, the unit powers on at 9:00 and enters sleep mode at 18:00.
-> On Wednesday, the unit powers on at 7:30 and enters sleep mode at 22:00 of the next day.
