Step 2a
DO NOT adjust the position
of the blade to locate the
locking pins in a hole. The
blade will automatically lock
as it is raised.
Check that the jack return
valve is closed.

Step 3
Use the left pedal to gently
raise the lower blade and lift
the log, this will in turn lift
the upper blade. Continue
raising the log until the
locking pins on the upper
blade are heard to click
into place in the next set of
holes. DO NOT steady the
log with your hands, your
hands should be placed on
the top handle for stability.
