Step 2: Setup the Site Dialer RTU Job

1. Return to the Ports/Jobs > Job Ports screen.
2. Choose the next open port, and change Port Usage to Site Dialer (This is the job that "talks" to
the Site Dialer).
3. Description is optional. Feel free to leave the default values for Time Out, Poll Delay, Fail
Threshold, Fail Poll Cycles, and Immediate Retries. Save the job.
4. Click Data Connection in the top menu, then Tcp Ports at the bottom of the container.
5. Add a new TCP port with the following information:
a. Type: UDP (DPS RTU, SNMP Trap Processing, SNMP Agent).
b. TCP Port: 2001 (or any available port).
c. Description: Enter a description here, such as "Site Dialer G3".
d. Save changes and return to the Job tab.
6. Select "Site Dialer G3 (UDP Port 2001)" as the Data Connection.
7. Save.

Step 3: Create the Site Dialer Device

1. Back on the Site Dialer's Job Port screen, click the Devices button on the menu bar, then Add a
device.
2. Enter the Device ID. The default is 1, unless you've changed it (This is the DCP address of the
unit).
