4 Connection

1) Insert the antennas (1) provided into the an-
tenna jacks (12) and put them in a vertical
position
Hint: To increase the range and the interference
resistance, use antenna amplifiers from JTS (e g
UB-900I) The amplifiers are supplied with power
via the antenna jacks of the receiver
2) To connect the subsequent unit, e g mixer
or amplifier, two audio outputs are available:
– XLR output (11): balanced output for con-
nection to a microphone input (when the
20 dB level attenuation has been activated,
chapter 6 5) or to a line input
– 6 3 mm jack (10): unbalanced output for
connection to a line input
3) For power supply, connect the power supply
unit provided to the power supply jack (9)
and to a mains socket (230 V / 50 Hz) The
receiver is provided with a hook for strain
relief (8): Lead the cable around the hook
to prevent accidental disconnection of the
power supply unit from the receiver
Note: The power supply unit will still consume
power when the receiver has been switched off
Therefore, always disconnect the power supply
unit if the transmission system is not operated for
a longer period of time

6.1 Function "GROUP":
Selecting a frequency from a group
When this function is selected,
ing on the display
The function „GROUP" can be used to select the
transmission frequency from a group of preset
frequencies (channels) Six groups are available;
the number of channels in each group varies:
refer to the table on page 3
This function is suggested when multiple
audio transmission systems are operated at the
same time: For each system, a different channel
can be selected from the same group In ideal
conditions, all channels from a group can be
used at the same time without mutual inter-
